We will be hosting a book club event after school on Wednesday, February 16, featuring The Hunger Games trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. 

This futuristic science fiction story is about a  sixteen-year-old girl, Katniss, who becomes a contender in the annual Hunger Games, a nationally televised event in which  she is forced to rely upon her wits and strength to eliminate the competition in order to become  the sole survivor. This easy-to-read young adult book  was exciting and original, and difficult to put down!

Book Club activities include theme-related snacks, a trivia contest, and a cornucopia challenge. Prizes will be awarded to the top two ‘tributes” or participants in our games. Please join us for a fun afternoon!
