Hellooooo Summer!

Wednesday, June 20th, 2012

That’s right- we did it. One hundred eighty days of second grade are done and Kirinicich’s Kiddos (version 2011-2012) are now THIRD graders! I’m proud of the hard work that everyone did this year- that’s students, parents, and teachers. Brains have surely grown in room 18.

Now, I wouldn’t be a teacher if I wasn’t constantly pushing knowledge. Need a place to keep up to date on the world, while continuing that brain growth? Check in with for fresh news from all over. Who knows? You might learn something!

Encouragement was the name of the game for field day this year. I saw friends encouraging each other and being great sports throughout the morning. Pictures of the events can be found on the Teaticket field day photo website.

We will continue to encourage each other to do our best for the remainder of the year. This positive spirit is something that I hope becomes a part of each kid’s character.

We’ve practiced and trained. The T-shirts are tied and being dyed red this weekend. The field has been mowed. We are ready for field day on Monday, June 4th at 9:30. It promises to be a fun morning of friendly competition and sportsmanship- I can’t wait!
