Where in the World…

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

It’s a great big universe. Do you know where your place in it is?

If so, then try your hand at some geography games:

One way we’ve been exploring our place is by using Google Earth. We first found our planet, then our continent, followed by our country, our state and then Cape Cod. After that we zoomed in closer to Falmouth and even went right to Teaticket School! This has been an amazing geography tool. The link above will allow you to download this (free) on your home computer for exploring more on your own.

Peace and Celebration

Wednesday, December 14th, 2011

Join us tonight for our second grade “informance”, Peace and Celebration. ¬†Our students and our music teacher, Miss Gilfoil, have been working very hard to learn songs from around the world. They are excited to have family and friends come to see and hear what they have been working on!

The students should report to the music room between 6 and 6:15. The show starts at 6:30 in the cafeteria. To help you plan your best viewpoint- during the “informance” our class will be closest to the courtyard windows.

Hope to see you there!
